Halloween in Alabama…again

Ok, the weeks just aren’t going to get any less busy any time soon. I need to just carve out a little time to update the blog more often than I have been. Let’s start with Halloween!

The day started out with a Halloween Party at Timmy’s preschool. I got voluntold I was going to be helping out with the party. That meant bringing pigs in a blanket and working a game (I had the bean bag toss). I got all stressy because I jut don’t like people and thats a lot of being out there and being social. Meh. But it turned out to be a lot of fun!

He kept his turtle costume on all day

But it was Halloween…so why not??

Later on we went over to Melissa’s for dinner and trick or treating. It’s what we did every other year we’ve lived here so time to keep on with the traditions.

She has some new friends since we were here last that pull a trailer full of hay bales to get us around for the trick or treating. That was lots of fun.

My turtle creeper 😉

Layla trying to keep up was the theme of the night. That head made things so hard haha

The end! by the time it was dark (about 6:30) Timmy was DONE. He kept telling me he just wanted to go to bed right. now. And why are there so many candy spots we have to stop at. It’s bed tiiiime. We finished up for the night and got back to the car by about 7:30 but it really did feel like 10pm. What a long night. Trick or treating in Korea spoiled my lazy self a big. Hitting one large apartment building where all the doors are inside…floor by floor then home. Here there was walking and lots of it. Those kids are troopers.
