The Cheese Danish.

Yesterday I rode along with Melissa to Montgomery. We stopped off at Costco before coming home. Bad idea when we were all starving. Melissa and I decided a big plate of cheese danishes would be a good idea. She had planned to send a couple home with me but we were in a hurry to get home to the dogs and forgot them. NOT cool. I wanted a danish SO bad this morning so I hopped on Google and found a fool proof recipe that I actually had everything to make.

CREAM CHEESE DANISH DESSERT

2 pkgs. crescent rolls
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla

For filling, mix together: cream cheese, sugar and vanilla.

Place 4 crescent triangles (still connected) on cookie sheet. Spread with half of filling mixture. Top with 4 crescent triangles, seal edges, repeat with other package of rolls.

Bake at 350 degrees 12-15 minutes.

Drizzle warm dessert with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk

I only had 1 pack of the rolls and a not completely full tub of cream cheese so I just halved the recipe. Thank goodness because I do NOT need more than I have now. Even Layla loved it. It turned out REALLY good. Warm and gooey. I ate 2 pieces and had to put my plate away and store the rest to keep me from polishing off the whole batch. YUM!
