Pukey Christmas.

Christmas Eve Layla started telling me her head hurt. Then it hurt reeaaalllyyy bad. We made a mad dash to Rite Aid to get some Tylenol, a thermometer, and some gel cooling pads that stick to foreheads. She ended up passing out on the couch at 6 after being loaded up with meds for her headache and fever. I felt bad because I knew she wanted to open up 1 present and get cookies ready for Santa. At 730 I was able to get her up and she was in a pretty good mood and able to have some fun before bed.

She got new PJs to sleep in even though she was a bit out of it 🙂

Over night was a bit rough though. She was up puking during the night. When she got up in the am I had to get some more meds in her before we did any gifts. She was still pretty grumpy and sick was way not into digging through her stocking. She was excited to see that Santa brought her just what she asked for though…the Dora Pony!

Dont mind her lack of pants. It was a rough night.

And oh my! The cookies and milk are gone!

She was still a little out of it and not too interested during the first half of present opening before she puked again. After that she was good to go and wanted everything out to play with.

She stayed in that back living room playing with her new stuff all day and almost didnt want to go to see Elizabeth for Christmas dinner.

We have a few big piles of boxes and twist ties and paper and 5 million little clear rubber bands that still need to make it out to the dumpster/recycle
Trash

She was really excited about this new Mack and her other cars. She wanted it every time we passed it at Walmart

She also got a few Leapster games. She loves the WallE game

Speaking of WallE…
WALL-E
She was mad that his eyes didnt move.

Did I mention T loaded my stocking with shot glasses from California and Vegas 😀 I love the pirate one.
My Stocking Stuffers

We went over to have dinner with the Wilkins family and the girls exchanged their gifts. They totally spoiled Layla and gave me a million more little rubber bands to take off of the ‘pet pets’

While we were waiting for desert…or was it dinner? While we were waiting for food T did a great job at entertaining the girls with Layla’s new board game. It was the one gift she hadnt been able to open and play with before we went over there so she had to bring it with her.
Chutes and Ladders

And finally I was able to get a pic of this house on our street. I think it looks like a ginger bread house. This is the first time I have been by at night with my camera.
Gingerbread House?
